Ride For The Child

In September 2016 I cycled 3200 miles across America over a period of 28 days. I raised over £12k for children with deafness or cancer.

The website was a central hub of information. All the branding, designing and marketing was done by myself.

Beard Revered

Beard aficionado Victoria approached me at a time where she had recently launched a new website dedicated entirely to the celebration of the beard. Since then I have rolled out two designs for her fantastic brand.

The latest version is a massive improvement and it's visually stunning. Key features include making great use of Victoria's photography, completely reworked the navigation and layout and massively improved the performance of the site.

It's fully responsive and it's built with WordPress. If you like beards then you will love this website.

Aultbea Hotel

Aultbea Hotel is a Small loch-side Scottish Highland hotel positioned between Ullapool and Gairloch. The new enthusiastic hotelier approached me to see if we would be interested in recreating the online presence of the hotel.

I got straight to work on the branding of the business and then moved onto the website design and development. The website is fully responsive and is built using the WordPress CMS. The site acts as an integral part of the hotel, advertising and promoting their services online.

Nick & Steph

I worked on the photograph and online photo album for the wedding of Nick & Steph. The wedding was in a small picturesque town on the coast of Rhodes, both the wedding and its destination were beautiful.

After considering the best way to showcase the photos to friends & family I came up with the idea of showing them online as opposed to a traditional physical photo album. The website is fully responsive and extremely simple to use, even for those older family members who aren't computer literate.

Life in numbers

A side project that outputs digits based on a users DOB. While the idea isn't totally original I had never seen one as visually appealing as mine. The site has had thousands of submissions since its launch and the feedback has been great!

Please note that these won't be 100% accurate. If you're wondering how I calculated some of the numbers then click on the the information icon to the right of the titles.

Moustache

Moustache was a photodiary for the annual event of Movember featuring ten handsome guys. It followed the growth of ten fine moustaches throughout the Movember 2012 event.

The aim of the site was to raise some money and awareness whilst having a bit of fun.

In total we raised around £500 :-)

Webwork

Webwork is a play on the word “homework”. It’s essentially a collection of project ideas that will come to life throughout 2015. Many web people, including myself, don’t have the opportunity to work on fun projects in their day jobs. I created Webwork to enable me to learn new skills and refine the old ones whilst having a bit of fun!
